Nowruz holiday celebrated in Mexico - PHOTOS

Westhill school in Mexico City celebrated the Nowruz holiday as part of the school’s international day.
With the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico City, students prepared stands with information about Azerbaijan, talked about Azerbaijani culture & traditions, and about the holiday itself, said the report.

Books about Azerbaijan in Spanish were distributed. Guests got a chance to get acquainted with Azerbaijani souvenirs,  as well as taste a variety of Azerbaijani national cuisine & traditional holiday sweets.

Despite the windy weather, which is uncharacteristic for Mexico, the festival was a success.
