Baku traffic police launched a raid to identify drunken drivers in the capital.

About 70 drivers were detained during the raids last night, driving a car while drunk, Baku State Traffic Police Official Jamshid Hanifayev told Trend News March 27.
Drunken drivers were mainly detained in Nizami district of Baku. They were fined under the relevant articles of the Administrative Violations Code. The raids will be continued today from 8 p.m. to 3 p.m., Hanifayev said.
30 road accidents occurred in Baku on holidays, which as result seven people died and 37 were injured, the department reported.
