Baku Metro tightens security

The Baku Metro has tightened security of passengers in stations following the terrorist acts committed in the Moscow Metro earlier this morning, the Main Police Office of Baku said.

"Law enforcement officers guarding the entrances or exits of subway stations were working in the strong regime,” Public Relations Office Galib Rahimov said.

“However, due to the tragic events in the Moscow subway, all police officers are given strict warnings to be more vigilant whole checking passengers,” he added.
