Baku to host U.S. Education Fair

The fair, which aims to inform about educational opportunities in the United States, will be held on March 30, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan reported.

The event will be attended by representatives of leading U.S. universities, which will provide detailed information on educational programs and activities of these institutions.

"The American universities offer good opportunities for education of young Azerbaijanis in the U.S. The leading U.S. universities invite Azerbaijani students to their universities. There is a trend of development in this area. In 2009, the number of Azerbaijani students wishing to study at U.S. universities has increased by 14 percent," Charge d'affaires of the U.S. embassy Donald Lu said.
