Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denies rumors about liquidation of military commissariats

"The information about the liquidation of the military commissariats has no evidence. At the present time, they operate", the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's Spokespersson Lieutenant-Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu said.

"According to the legislation, military commissariats function under the Ministry of Defense. Like other departments they operate under the leadership of Minister of Defense," Sabiroglu said.

According to him, dismissal of some military commissioners is due to their retirement and transfer to another position.

At present, no serious complaints from citizens were made to the "hot line" in connection with military service, Sabiroglu added.
