Chief of the Baku Metro Director Tagi Ahmadov said that there were cases of failures upon loading of money for cards.
“Now some 50,000 AZN of such money accumulated.
"The information is received to a central server, and, after proving payment, a passenger can take away the money next day,” T. Ahmadov said.
According to head of the underground, it happens because passengers take away too early a card from a booth. In order to prove fact of payment, it is necessary to present a cheque.
“A passenger himself chooses whether to take away a check or not, but any way, it is impossible that a booth gives out cheques at choice of such option,” Ahmadov said.
At the same time, cases were observed when a booth did not give out cheques merely because paper was used up in full.
