Azerbaijani cooks grabbed one gold, four silver and 5 bronze medals at the 6th international gastronomic festival took place in Turkish city of Istanbul, head of Azerbaijan Culinary Association Tahir Amiraslanov said.
Mr. Amiraslanov said at the initiative of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, a book about culture of Azerbaijan cuisine will be published.
The event brought together cooks from Bulgaria, Mongolia, Serbia, Moldova, US, Russia, Czech, UK, Uzbekistan, India, Israel, Romania.
