IDPs to be hired for vacancies in governmental agencies in Azerbaijan

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has passed a decision to take additional measures to boost social protection of internally displaced persons by providing them with jobs at budget-funded enterprises and organizations in fields not subjected to privatization.

Under the decision, validity of the similar decision from 1994 was extended until 1 January 2011.

The Ministries of Education, of Health, of Culture & Tourism, and other organizations and their territorial braches were commissioned to ensure employment of refugees and IDPs for vacancies and report of on this issue quarterly.
