The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed about 580 kg of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry reported today.
Monitoring carried out in the Binagadi and Nasimi districts of Baku, as well as Guba, Gazakh, Ganja and Agstafa regions of Azerbaijan.
The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, canned goods, pasta, butter, milk and dairy products, rice, tea, coffee, peas, mushrooms, persimmon, baby food, fruit juices and beer.
Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on enterprises and individuals.
