On April 9, representatives of the young Georgian Azerbaijanis laid a wreath at the memorial to the victims of the tragic events in Tbilisi April 9, 1989.
About 60 Azerbaijani students studying in Georgia, paid tribute to the fallen in the struggle for freedom of Georgia.

An organization of young Georgia's Azerbaijanis was established in 2009. Earlier, it functioned as an initiative group. The main purpose of the organization is the integration of Azerbaijanis into the Georgian society. Chairman of the Association Samira Ismayilova also participated in the event.
