Baku to host 64th EBU General Assembly

On July 1-2, Baku will host the 64-th General Assembly of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) upon the invitation of one of its members - the Azerbaijani public. The meeting of the Executive Committee, as well as other preparatory meetings will be held on June 30, EBU web site reported.

It is expected to hold two meetings at the highest level with the participation of prominent professionals in the media as speakers and participants. EBU members will be regularly provided with new information on speakers and other guests who have confirmed their participation.

New information about the Assembly and related to its conduct of meetings and public events, as well as on the registration form and accommodation can be obtained at www.ebubaku2010.az.

The deadline for registration is 10 June.
