Azerbaijan to adopt single strategy for CIS countries' youth development

Azerbaijan will adopt a single strategy for youth development of the CIS countries, Oleg Rozhnov, chairman of the CIS Council on Youth Affairs said today at the Council's meeting in Baku.

Baku hosts the meeting of the CIS Council on Youth Affairs, which is attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Tajikistan. Representatives from the two other members of the Council - Armenia and Kyrgyzstan did not attend the event.

Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov in his speech said that the youth cooperation may become a priority among other types of cooperation.

"We support broad youth cooperation," he said.

In addition, plan of action in the Council member states on celebrating the 65th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War will be coordinated during the discussions.
