The Mathematical Society of Turkic Countries published the first issue of the ‘Turkic World Mathematics Society Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics’ journal. Vice-President of Mathematical Society of Turkic Countries, Academician Fikret Aliyev is Editor-in-Chief of the journal. The periodical was registered by the International Scientific Journals service in France and got an identification number ISSN 2076-2585.
The Mathematical Society of Turkic Countries unifies senior mathematicians from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, China, Mongolia, the Unites States and a number of European countries.
The first congress of the Society was held in 1999 at Firat University (Turkey, Elazig). The Mathematical Society of Turkic Countries also convened at Sakarya University (Turkey, Adapazari) in 2007 and at Al-Farabi Kazakhstan’s National University last year in Almaty.
