State NGO Support Council under Azerbaijani President announces financial contest

The State NGO Support Council under the Azerbaijani President and Garadagh-Cement JSC announced financial contest for funding NGO projects in 2010.

"The Council and Garadagh-Cement will give preference to projects in three areas in this financial contest, " Council Chairman Azay Guliyev told Trend.

Guliyev said that projects must cover topics relating to training of rofessional staff for public relations, studying the existing situation with infectious diseases, as well as topics that support social initiatives.

"The maximum cost per project is estimated at 8,000 manat", representative of 'Garadagh-Cement' Goria Adrian said in his speech at the event.

Adrian said that the general fund of the contest is 80,000 manat. Statements about the projects are accepted until May 7.
