Baku-London flights temporarily suspended

Flights from Baku to London and vice versa were temporarily suspended due to the termination of British airports' work, caused by the volcanic eruption in Iceland. There is a huge cloud of ash over Europe, JSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) reported.

There must have been a Baku-London flight to Heathrow at 12:55 Baku time, but it was canceled today. The same flight was also canceled yesterday.

AZAL said that the flight Baku-Paris has not been cancelled yet. The aircraft must fly from Baku at 07:00 p.m.

Lenta.ru reported that airline Air France canceled all flights from Paris and to Paris, scheduled for Friday morning, April 16 in connection with the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Moreover, all major airports of Paris will be closed at least until 10 a.m local time (13:00 Baku time).
