Azerbaijani poet Rasul Rza's centenary marked in Turkey

The 100th birthday of Rasul Rza, an outstanding Azeri poet of the 20th century, was held in Ankara and Kayseri, Turkey.

Here, at Erjiyes University, a conference on theme: “Rasul Rza and Azerbaijan literature” was held. Professor Nevzat Ozkan said the jubilee of Rasul Rza will be widely celebrated in Turkey.

The event brought together men of literature and art, philologists and public figures of Turkey. Anar, Head of the Union of Writers of Azerbaijan, expressed profound gratitude to the public for a tribute to Rasul Rza.
