Baku airport cancels number of flights due to air transport suspension in Europe

Today due to the suspension of works of the European airports, as a result of eruption of Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland, Baku-Frankfurt flights (departure time 7:15 on Baku time) Baku-London (departure time 10: 00 on Baku time) were cancelled, CJSC "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL) said today.

Today Baku-London flight is scheduled for 18:05. Information on this is yet to be disclosed.

The flights from Frankfurt and London to Baku were canceled yesterday, and this morning flight from Paris was cancelled too.

Lenta.ru reported that airline Air France canceled all flights from Paris and to Paris, scheduled for Friday morning, April 16 in connection with the volcanic eruption in Iceland.
