Patriarch Kirill believes people of different religions in Azerbaijan get along just fine

It is remarkable that we are gathering together in Azerbaijan. There are the right laws and the right relations relations between people of different religions in Azerbaijan, Patriarch Kirill said while addressing to believers.

"Everyone in Azerbaijan has the freedom to express his religious feelings, everyone feels safe under the protection of the state, and I am very glad that the head of state, Mr. President personally pays great attention to interreligious relations", - Kirill said.

According to him, religious leaders gathered in Baku on Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade's invitation to "think about what is happening with the world, with human community, what we must do in order to make the world a better place, and conflict free."

The summit of religious leaders of the CIS countries started in Baku on April 25th.
