
Today, Baku will hosts the third international seminar of TURKSOY on Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Organized by the Azeri ministry of culture and tourism, the seminar has brought together scholars from Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries.
In his welcome speech, minister for culture and tourism Abulfas Garayev said the first day of the seminar featured the theme of the Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World and Conventionalization Prospects.
The seminar will continue its work in Sheki, the city in the north of Azerbaijan, which has been declared a 2010 Capital of Azerbaijan's handicrafts.
