"Electronic university" project presented in Azerbaijan

According to the head of the university's “Technological complexes and the special technique” department Hasan Huseynov, opportunity to receive distance education in on-line mode is given within the framework of this project.

“Students of the university, residing in the regions, can join this project by means of the Internet, not arriving in the capital,” Huseynov said.

This system is built on the basis of experience of "Open universities" and at present the similar system "Virtual university" is applied in the Baku State University.
