The Georgian Interior Ministry detained two persons of Armenian origin falsifying fuel coupons of SOCAR Energy Georgia, an official source in the company reported.
April 12, SOCAR Energy Georgia revealed that Georgian citizen Vitaly Gulisaryan illegally poured about 100 liters of fuel using false fuel coupons of the company. The company passed information to the Interior Ministry. The ministry's officials arrested Vitally Gulisaryan and his brother Alex during the second attempt to drain the fuel April 29.
During the search at Gulisaryan's apartment, the officers found technique by which fuel coupons and Georgian currency - the lari were tampered.
The Georgian Interior Ministry has expressed its gratitude to SOCAR Energy Georgia for the provided information.
