One of Baku's most visited supermarkets is closed

03 May 2010 [16:23] - TODAY.AZ
Reportedly, one of the "Ramstore" supermarkets (situated near the Azerbaijani Technical University) has closed.

Central "Ramstore" office confirmed this information. According to the office representatives, "the decision on closing this particular market was made due to small landspace, which was not enough for this kind of mall".

We should note, that "Ramstore" is one of the biggest supermarket brands in Azerbaijan. The founder of "Ramstore" is a Turkish company "Migros". "Ramstore" supermarkets also exist in Macedonia and Kazakhstan.

After the closing of one of the supermarkets in Azerbaijan, there are still 3 left - one in Khatai district, one in Narimanov district, and another one in Shuvalan village of Azizbekov district.
