Memorial stone laid in park named after Azerbaijan's National Leader in Israel

On May 6, a ceremony of laying memorial stone in the park in Hadera city, which will be named after the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, was held on sidelines of the conference on regional conflicts and press with participation of the Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan Nazim Ibrahimov, Secretary General of Our Home Israel Party, MK Faina Kirschenbaum and Hadera Mayor Haim Avitan.

The representatives of Azerbaijani communities from all over Israel arrived in Hedera to attended the ceremony.

Those addressing the ceremony mentioned the close ties between Azerbaijani and Jewish peoples and National Leader Heydar Aliyev's efforts to boost tolerance and friendship between Jews and Azerbaijanis, said deputy editor of news portal Alexander Goldenshteyn, who took part in the ceremony.
