Student committed suicide in Baku jumping from roof of 16-storey building

A student committed suicide in Baku on Thursday, police said. The incident took place at 17.30 in the territory of Nasimi district of Baku. Student of the Azerbaijan University of Economics Chingiz Zarbaliyev jumped from the roof of 16-storey building.

His body was torn into pieces. According to preliminary reports, Zarbaliyev committed suicide because he was rejected by girlfriend.

The prosecutor’s office launched criminal case under article 125 (bringing to suicide) of the Criminal Code. The fact is under investigation.
