Over 1.5 tons of toxic canned meat revealed in Azerbaijan

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development revealed toxic substances in the canned meat "stew beef" "Glavprodukt", produced by "Eagle product" in the city of Mtsensk,  the report said.

The company was instructed to remove goods of this brand from sale. Today over 1,500 kilograms of the product were seized. Toxic elements were found in a product 'Braised beef' and 90 gram pie made from pork liver, seized in trading facilities. The State Service recommends consumers to refrain from buying harmful products - canned, stewed beef, and 90-gram pie made from pork liver.
