The Day of National rice was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages summer school. Nine kinds of dishes were prepared for eight American students to review the delights of the Azerbaijani national cuisine.
Chief of the Region Study Department, associate professor Sevdagyul Aliyev told the students about the kinds of rice, recipes and the intricacies of cooking it. The summer school aims to raise awareness of American students about Azerbaijani culture, history and traditions.
