The Azerbaijani parliament's extraordinary meeting held June 22 adopted a law on amendments and changes to the country's laws "On Advertising", "On Broadcasting" and "On medicines".

Parliamentary Social Policy Committee Chairman Hadi Rajabli provided extend information about the bill to the MPs.
"The bill provides stipulated the advertising of prescription drugs. Previously, such drugs could not be advertised on television and radio," Rajabli said.
Azerbaijani MP Azay Guliyev proposed further changes to the law on advertising, according to which the rules for broadcasting social advertising will be set.
