"Azerbaijan to reach Turkey's tourism level in 15-20 years"

Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism plans to widen and strengthen work towards the development of country's tourism. Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev told journalists, that "Azerbaijan expects to reach Turkey's level of tourism in approximately 15-20 years".

"Tourism sector in Turkey has been developing for over 30 years, and in Azerbaijan - nearly 10 years. Thus, we cannot really compare the levels of tourism in our countries," said Garayev.

Minister added, that the work in this sphere is continuing, and underlined, that "Azerbaijan expects more and more tourists every year".
