Azerbaijan`s consul general Aykhan Suleymanov met with head of Turkish Kars municipality Nevzat Bozkus.

The head of municipality praised the current level of relations between the two “fraternal” nations.
He expressed assurance the Azerbaijani consulate general would make “great” contribution to further expanding the cooperation between the two countries. Bozkus said Kars residents expect new projects from the diplomatic representation of Azerbaijan in order to further strengthen the relationship.
Consul general Suleymanov vowed he would spare no efforts to contribute to developing ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Suleymanov stressed the importance of “effective” cooperation between the consulate general and the local government.
The consul general said the visit of a delegation from Ganja is expected to Kars in near future. He pointed out that such visits would serve to boosting the relationship. Suleymanov stated that the consulate general plans to implement new projects in social, economic and cultural areas.
