Two transit trucks transporting cargo from Dubai to Azerbaijan detained in Iran

Two transit trucks, transporting crystal glassware and perfume from Dubai to Azerbaijan, illegally discharged the cargo in the Iranian city of Karaj and falsifying documents, loaded cement. Therefore, trying to deceive, they were detained by customs officials, head of Customs Service Astara - Iran Said Firuzabadi said, according to IRNA news agency.

Firouzabad added that the total weight of crystal dishes and perfume illegally transported to Iran is 46 tons. The total value of the cargo is $ 75 million.

"Six people were arrested," he said.

He said that the detainees illegally sold Czech crystal to earn a considerable amount of money. The owners of the cargo knew about it. A criminal case was filed towards the detainees. The investigation is underway. He did not disclose the names and nationality of the detainees.
