
The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development revealed and destroyed 437 kilograms of products unfit for human food consumption, according to the Ministry.
Next monitoring were conducted in Surakhani, Subanchi and Binagadi districts of Baku and Sumgait, Sheki, Tovuz regions. Expired confectionary, milk and dairy products, sausages, butter, canned foods, soft drinks, beer and other products were revealed. Measures will be applied towards violators of consumer rights in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences. The State Service urges consumers to be careful while revealing expired products.
