Azerbaijani academician becomes a foreign member of National Academy of Sciences of Georgia

Vice-President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh has been named a foreign member of the Georgia National Academy of Sciences for his contribution to implementation of global projects within Georgia.

A number of state awards and honorary titles were earlier bestowed upon Yusifzade for his contribution to development of oil and gas production in Azerbaijan and Caspian Sea.
He was honored with the Istiglal (Independence) order in 2000, Shohret (Glory) order in 2004 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Contract of the Century and Sharaf (Honor) order in 2009.
