
Center for Analytical Examination of the Ministry of Health carries out inspections in shops and pharmacies engaged in selling of optics, Chief Inspectorate for Control over the Quality of Medicines Centre Analytical Examination Parviz Azizbekov told APA.
Monitoring was conducted at 155 pharmacies and 54 shops selling optics for verifying whether selling of eyeglasses and optical lenses coordinates with the requirements of the Ministry of Health or not. Offices have been closed for the sale of optics at more than 10 pharmacies that do not eliminate deficiencies in the work.
Azizbeyov also noted that there had to be at least 15 sq meters area for sales of optics in pharmacies. To him, during the inspection of shops, it was found that the activity of most of them meets the requirements.
