Azerbaijan produces 1.3bln kw/h of electricity in June

Azerbaijan's major electricity company, Azerenerji JSC, said it produced about 1.3 bln kw/hour of electric power in June, bringing the total amount of electricity generated since the start of the year to 9.5 bln kw/hour.

In the total volume of power generated last month, the share of thermoelectric power stations was 7.3 bln kw/h, while the rest 2.2 bln kw/h were produced by hydroelectric power stations across the country. Azerbaijan's major electric power partners are Russia, Turkey, Iran and Georgia.
