Migration Service: 696 foreigners deported from Azerbaijan

The service revealed that 881 foreigners violated existing legislation. About 185 were fined and their residence was legalized. The Service decided to deport 40 foreigners in an administrative order.

In June 2010, the service accepted 3,807 applications from foreigners and stateless persons to extend their stay in the country, issuance of a permit for permanent and temporary residence, the granting of citizenship, restoring and denial of citizenship, as well as the definition of citizenship and refugee status, issuance and renewal of individual work permits.
