
Archeological excavations will soon start in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The excavations will be held in areas near Meydantapa monument, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Excavation are also planned to be carried out in Kangarli village and ancient Shahtakhti settlement. Azerbaijan Institute of Archeology and Ethnography have held excavations in many regions of the country over the past years.
