Indian language department to open at Azerbaijan University of Languages

According to the Ambassador, the department will start functioning at the new school year.

"Professor Radzhish Kumar will come to Baku to assist opening the department. For a while he will work in Baku, and will assist teachers in preparing a program to study the Indian language," the ambassador said.

Shaw emphasized the importance of early implementation of student exchange programs between the two countries. The Ambassador noted that in 2011 in India will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the famous Indian poet Robindranat Tagore. He also stressed that events on this occasion are also scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan as well.
