Azerbaijan, Turkey to establish Joint Action Group to solve economic problems

Joint Action Group chaired by Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development and Turkish State Minister for Foreign Trade will be established to improve economic relations and solve problems between Azerbaijan and Turkey, Turkish State Minister for Foreign Trade Zafer Caglayan said.

Zafer Caglayan said the agreement was reached at the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev. Subcommittees of the Action Group will be chaired by the deputy ministers.

“Joint Action Group will study problems. These issues will be discussed at the meetings and proper measures will be taken,” Turkish minister underlined.

Zafer Caglayan noted that the first meeting of the Joint Action Group will be held in Istanbul either in November or in December. The meeting will be held within the framework of Turkey-Azerbaijan business forum in Istanbul.
