UNESCO director general visits piano factory in Gabala - PHOTOS

The Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Irina Bokova has visited a piano factory in Gabala, a city in the north of Azerbaijan.

The factory is the only facility in the world to manufacture Beltmann pianos. It is capable of producing 1200-1500 pianos per year. The factory employs 120 workforce, with the number planned to be increased to 350 in future. The UNESCO chief viewed the factory, and watched the production process.
