Stomach removal operations carried out in Baku for the first time

For the first time in Baku, two stomach removal operations were carried out, in the Research Surgery Center. According to the director of the center Boyukkishi Agayev, one of the operations lasted for 4 hours.

"Such operations were carried out in Baku for the first time. The reason for one of the was cancerous tumor. After the operation, the patient will not be able to live like he did before, but other human organs will compensate for the removed one", said the doctor.
