Number of appeals to State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan increases

The number of appeals received by the "Question-Answer" subgroup  of the website of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of Azerbaijan in the first half of 2010 increased by 76% compared to the same period of last year, State Fund public relations department said.

Each appeal is considered by relevant departments of the Fund, and the answers are posted on the relevant sections.

In the first half of this year, 43.7% of the 1,270 appeals dealt with pensions. 27% of appeals were related to social insurance transfers, 8.9% to the section "individual account", and 6% to "pensions and financial assistance to military personnel."

Citizens can also get answers to their questions through a hotline - 190 - of the central information system of the Fund.
