Flood victims to receive compensations in Azerbaijan

Communication centers and post offices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies suffered AZN 2.5 million damage as a result of the floods in Azerbaijan, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said.

“According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, we are commissioned to restore the communication centers and post offices at our own expenses within three months. We plan to complete the restoration within two months,” he said.

Minister says the sufferers are receiving compensations through Azerpocht. Abbasov said that a special commission has been set up with the participation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and other related bodies.
