Azerbaijanis included in "500 Most Influental Muslims"

Famous America's Georgetown University announced the names of 500 the most influential Muslims. Noted that, census of influential persons implemented for their influence in their country, inland and international impacts as well as, their participation on processes hold in the world.

The list contains 500 persons. Heads of the Muslim states, influential public figures, cultural and scientist personalities were included there. Political and religious leaders took the first ten. The first of the most ifluential Muslims is Saudi King Abdullah Abulaziz.

As far as Azerbaijanis go, there are 5 people on the list, including President of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, theologian-philosopher Haji Ilqar Ibragimoglu, people's artist Alim Gasimov and economist-expert Vuqar Bayramov.
