Temperature to rise in Azerbaijan by weekend

"Unstable air temperature is forecasted in Azerbaijan till Aug. 28. Short rains are expected at  evening and night hours in some regions. Temperature will reach 31-34 degrees in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula during the day, 30-35 degrees in the Aran region, and 17-22 degrees in foothills and mountainous areas," Tagiyeva said.

Tagiyeva added that temperatures will reach 35-37 degrees in the weekend, 38 degrees in the Aran region, about 25 degrees in foothills and mountainous areas.

"Thpugh the temperature will rise, it will be within climate norms, sharp heat is not expected. The moderate temperature is expected in early September," Tagiyeva added.
