
An agreement on joint production between some foreign companies and Azerbaijan is to be signed within the framework of the Africa Aerospace and Defence 2010 - AAD Exhibition to be held in Cape Town city of South African Republic (SAR), military sources said.
According to the source, one of the deals to be signed within the framework of the exhibition which will last from Sept. 21 till Sept. 25 will envisage production of new technologies with “Paramount Group” company. Another deal will be about the cooperation in aviation sector.
Meetings with heads of defense industry sector of Turkey and discussions on cooperation opportunities are planned to hold on the sidelines of the exhibition.
John Craig, Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Group said that other projects are expected to be held together with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industries as well. He noted that works were carried out towards realization of joint projects in aviation and other spheres.
