Baku hosts meeting of advisory council of Trade Unions of Cultural Workers

On 13 September, a meeting of the Advisory Council of the trade unions of cultural workers was for the first time held in Azerbaijan at the Ataturk Center of Baku. Prior to the meeting, the attendees from Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova and other countries have paid tribute at the Alley of Honors to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, then visited the Alley of Martyrs.

The participants have also visited the grave of academician Zarifa Aliyeva, the tombs of the People's Artist of USSR and Azerbaijan Rashid Behbudov and Muslim Magomayev. The meeting was opened by Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation`s deputy chairman Ilyas Aliyev, who praised activity of the Confederation.

According to him, the trade unions of cultural workers of Azerbaijan actively take part in realization of numerous state projects and have done a lot in the field of gender equality and youth affairs. Other orators have informed about the activity of the trade unions in the past years.
