Suicide attempt outside police office in Baku

Azerbaijan Interior Ministry has spread information on a suicide attempt that took place outside the Nasimi District Police Office in Baku. Anar Amirov, who injured himself, was detained by police.

Unknown person coerced 80-year old Khanim Naghiyeva, who had been treated at Clinical Hospital # 4 in Baku and took her bag with money and personal documents. The offender, Anar Amirov was arrested as a result of operation carried out by the police officers. Investigation is underway on the fact. Amirov, 25, knifed himself in front of Nasimi District police Office. He was hospitalized with serious injuries.
