Azerbaijan-made ammunitions cause special interest at international defense exhibition in Poland

Azerbaijan-made arms and ammunitions caused special interest at the international defense exhibition MSPO-2010 in Kielce, Poland last week, said the press service of the Defense Industry Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The Defense Industry Ministry attended MSPO-2010 on September 6-9 together with Jakusz Company of the Polish defense-industrial complex, said the press service. More than 100 companies of the developed countries participated at the exhibition. Booklets, brochures and CDs about more than 60 defense products (small arms, missiles, close-range ammunitions and etc.) made at the enterprises of the Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry Ministry, were spread among the participants. The Azerbaijan-made ammunitions and arms, including sniper rifle “Istiglal”, caused special interest at the exhibition.

A number of companies of the developed countries showed interest in cooperation with the Defense Industry Ministry of Azerbaijan. High-ranking Polish officers visited the Azerbaijani mount. They highly appreciated cooperation between the Azerbaijani ministry and Jakusz Company.

European newspapers reported about the Azerbaijani defense industry during the exhibition. Polish military magazine “Raport” published an extensive article about that.
