A delegation, led by Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Elmir Velizade, is taking part in work of “TurkmenTel-2010” exhibition-conference.

According to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, scientific conference “Turkmenistan and world information and telecommunication systems” will also take place within the framework of the IV International exhibition of telecommunications, telemetry, information technologies and broadcasting equipment taking place in Ashgabat on September 15-17, the Ministry said.
The delegation includes representatives of Azerbaijani private ICT-companies along with representatives of the ministry. The national pavilion of Azerbaijan where last achievements of the republic in sphere of information technologies will be presented, will work within the framework of the exhibition.
Intergovernmental cooperation and possibilities for foreign investments and further development of ICT-sector of both Turkmenistan and the entire region will be under discussion in scientific conference entitled “Turkmenistan and world information-telecommunication systems”, to be attended by 300 delegates from world countries.
Elmir Velizade will address the conference. He will speak of the development of information-communication technologies of Azerbaijan, the projects, implemented in the republic in this sphere.
The exhibition, organized by the Turkmenistan Ministry of Communications and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will act sections: telecommunications, information technologies, telemetry and measuring equipment, wireless communication, equipment of professional audio/video record, broadcasting equipment, cable production of communication and constituent parts, operators for granting of various services in the field of communication, transport, special technique and equipment, logistics.
