Two Azerbaijani brothers shot in Ukraine

Armed conflict that involved Azerbaijani citizens took place in Orjonikidzovsk area of Zaporozhye region of Ukraine on September 16. Orjonikidzovsk police received reports about gunshots in the market area. The investigators found that a conflict between Ukrainian meat dealers and two brothers of Azerbaijani origin, one of whom has Ukrainian citizenship, turned into a brawl.

As a result, Ukrainian man took out an officially registered traumatic gun "Fort” and inflicted wounded Azerbaijanis. According to Ukrainian, he took the gun after Azeris took out knives. The policeman refused to name the participants of the brawl, saying that it contradicts the law on the presumption of innocence.

"Ukrainian man has been detained. Currently, the victims are hospitalized. Their condition is assessed as moderate. The gun has been seized," the source in police office said. An investigation into the incident continues.
